Instrument panel of the measuring and alarm systems

Starting with the November 2020 firmware update, Didactum's SNMP monitoring hardware offers a dashboard function. This dashboard can be customized and displays the most important information visually. The appearance of the Didactum dashboard depends on the data it is intended to display.

Note from the technical editors:

The discontinued SNMP monitoring systems, such as the Didactum Monitoring System 500 (1st Gen) and Didactum Monitoring System 100 (Gen. 1 and 2), do not support the dashboard. If needed, you can upgrade to the latest Didactum SNMP monitoring systems at special rates. Simply contact our sales department for more information.

Configuration of individual display elements

Upon initial installation of your SNMP monitoring hardware, the dashboard will be empty. Go to the "Dashboard" menu and then click the "+" icon in the upper right corner. The "Add Item" menu will open. Simply select the desired item from your SNMP monitoring hardware.

You can add further items to the dashboard as needed. Then, name the desired dashboard and click "OK".

41 Instrument view of the analog sensors

Didactum's analog sensors can be displayed as a graph or a speedometer in the Didactum dashboard. If measurement data from multiple analog sensors is to be displayed, only the graph view is offered, understandably.

Discrete sensors and elements of SNMP monitoring hardware

Dry contact inputs and switches, relays, pings, timers, and other elements that display discrete values can be represented by the Didactum Dashboard as a graph or as a status. When configuring the status view, aliases can be defined for the element states, which are then displayed on the Didactum Monitoring System's instrument panel.
