FTP upload of logs, sensor data & settings of the IT monitoring system
Log files, sensor data, device settings, etc., can be saved from the stand-alone IT monitoring systems to an FTP server. The backup interval (daily/weekly/monthly) is set by the user in the German-language web interface. These files are first backed up on the IT monitoring system to a USB stick or SD card (depending on the model) and then uploaded to an FTP server at a specific time (device time).
Technical Editor's Notes:
Please note that the FTP upload can take several minutes. Please also note that video recordings from the optionally available video surveillance camera are uploaded by the IT monitoring system to the specified FTP server without any delay! Depending on the model, the networked IT monitoring systems from Didactum offer an SD card drive and/or internal HDD/SSD data storage. If your IT monitoring system is only equipped with one USB port, please insert a compatible USB flash drive. If using a micro USB port, only use the included OTG USB adapter cable!

Important notes from the technical editor:
Please note that it may take several minutes to send the log files to the FTP server. To prevent data loss, do not restart the IT monitoring system. Only those log files and sensor data that were created after the last start of the IT monitoring system are sent to the FTP server.
