Introduction
The setup wizard guides you through configuring language, time, network, SNMP, and user permissions the first time you access the Didactum web interface for your monitoring unit.
The wizard button appears in the top bar of the web interface when you are logged in as a guest user. The button disappears once you change your username.
Using the default guest login credentials is not secure, so be sure to change your username.
Run the initial installation wizard
To start the Initial Setup Wizard, click on the magic pencil in the upper right corner of the web interface.
Step 1: Select language
Select your preferred language and click "Next."
Currently available languages: English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Turkish, Chinese, and Bulgarian.

Step 2: Time configuration
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Current device date and time | Manual time setting. Set the time according to the system time of your PC or mobile device that you are using to access the Didactum web interface. |
| Device timezone | Choose a time zone for the device. |
| Automatically synchronize time | Choose an option to automatically synchronize time. |
