Configuration of the alarm card including live sensor mapping
Didactum®'s Ethernet-based remote monitoring systems offer an integrated alarm map function in the web GUI. This alarm map, including the live sensor mapping function, can be found in the German web interface of the monitoring systems under the menu item "Map."
Notes on the Alarm Map / Live Sensor Mapping:
If a large graphic is imported, it will be scaled to fit the screen area of the alarm map. Full-screen display is not currently supported (as of January 3, 2020). There are no limits on the total number of sensors displayed on the alarm map. Please note that displaying a very large alarm map—including live sensor mapping—may lead to increased CPU load on the smartphone, tablet, or PC being used. This depends on the web browser being used.
Load floor plan or shape into alarm map
Log in to the German web interface of the Didactum Monitoring System using your Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox browser. Click on the "Map" entry, and the integrated alarm map function will open. In the menu at the top right, you will find the gear icon. Simply click on the gear icon. In the menu that appears, you will find the "New Map" button at the bottom. Select the desired graphic (floor plan / architect's plan / Visio Shape) and then click "OK." The graphic will then be loaded into the system.
Note:
As always, it is important to permanently save your settings in the monitoring system (click on the floppy disk icon at the top right)!
Selecting the sensors displayed on the alarm map
In the "Map" menu, click on the gear icon again, and the corresponding menu will open.
