Controlling relays
The Monitoring System 500 (1st generation) allows you to connect up to four loads, which are managed by integrated relays. The official successor model, the 500T, offers two built-in relays as an optional feature. Both models use latching, bistable relays. When the device is powered on, the relays remain in the command position.
Safety instructions for electrical work:
Strictly adhere to all applicable regulations and safety rules for electrical work. Always hire a qualified electrician or electrical contractor for any electrical installation work.

To connect an external load, connect the power cables of the device to be switched to the corresponding green connectors of the respective relay port.
Then insert the connectors into one of the relay ports (RLY1, RLY2, RL3). The fourth relay of the 500 series monitoring system (1st generation) is exclusively for switching 12V devices (siren, strobe light).
The monitoring system's built-in relays switch the load on or off via command (manually via web interface, via a defined rule, or via SNMP command). The maximum possible output current of the relay is 10A.
