Saving the current monitoring settings
Monitoring settings are not saved after a restart.
This also applies if you click "Apply" or "Save Settings" in the individual configuration windows.
To save the settings after a restart, you must press the corresponding button to save the current settings to flash memory.
1. Save the current settings to the local hard drive
Description: Selective settings reservation
To save current settings on an external file go to System menu >> Export >> Download current settings >> Choose which Parameters should be reserved >> Press Ok >> You receive the settings.xxx file.
You need to be logged in as an administrator to do that.
It is not possible to load the reservation of the settings file from one system to a different system.
For example, it is not possible from 100T to 300T. But it is possible from 500T to 550T.
Units have different OS versions and different configurations. Different hardware gives different sensor IDs, which leads to inconsistencies in logic schemes, groups, etc.
| Parameter | Description | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| monitoring | Monitoring: modules, sensors, groups, map, USB webcam, etc | |
| CANbus | CAN bus configuration | The names of the elements are associated with a specific CAN sensor (by Serial Number and other sensor info). When transferring the configuration to another system, they will not be saved. Because of the architecture of the CAN network, it is impossible. |
| dbusers | Users DB | |
| dbkeys | Access keys DB | |
| datetime | Date and time configurations | |
| network | Network settings | |
| HTTP | HTTP Server settings | |
| log | Logging settings | |

2. Save backup settings to a USB stick

- Wait until the red ERR LED flashes for a while. A backup file will be created on the USB flash drive.
- Remove the USB flash drive. The file is located at the following path: XXXXX-host40/backup/settings/2023.07.20_17-43-47.xxx
Importing Saved Settings
