Setting up a Keep Alive email and/or SMS notification for hourly or daily status updates of your Didactum monitoring system is straightforward.

First, in the Didactum Alarm Server's web interface, under "System Tree," define the desired recipients of the Keep Alive email or SMS.

To do this, click the "+" icon and select the desired type of Keep Alive notification.

In our example, Facility Manager Mr. Krause will receive a daily SMS confirming the functionality of the Didactum IT monitoring system. After defining the Keep Alive notification, click the floppy disk icon in the upper right corner to save the settings in the Didactum alarm system.

Once you have defined the type of Keep Alive notification, create a new notification under "Logical Scheme."

In our example, we have specified that a Keep Alive notification will be sent when the "System" and the "Onboard Modules" are operating normally. Of course, you can also select the elements and IP sensors you require. We have already defined "SMS Facility Manager Mr. Krause" as the recipient of the keep-alive notifications in the system tree.

Now we select this.

After that, you only need to define the keep-alive interval (repeat). In our case, Mr. Krause receives the keep-alive confirmation every 24 hours.
