Web interface Didactum monitoring systems and PDUs
Didactum's monitoring systems and PDUs are equipped with a web interface. This provides you with powerful tools for monitoring and controlling your mission-critical rooms and facilities. Access to the web interface is simple via a web browser from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, PC, or server. No additional hardware is required to operate the monitoring system. You don't need to install any software or app on your smartphone, PC, or server. Thanks to full SNMPv1/SNMPv2c/SNMPv3 support, integration with automation software and network management systems is supported. The SNMP MIB can be loaded directly from the multilingual web interface.
Easy setup and convenient operation
Great emphasis was placed on ease of use. The integrated setup wizard guides you through the most important settings of the monitoring system. The tactical overview displays important status information in real time. With just a few mouse clicks, you can configure notifications, alarms, and actuators (e.g., relay switching).
Configuration of the intelligent SNMP sensors
Every SNMP sensor connected to the monitoring system is automatically detected using the innovative Auto Sensing function and immediately displayed in the web interface. Real-time measurement starts instantly. All sensor data is stored in the data logger. The storage capacity can be expanded upon request. Measurement data can be exported from the data logger (XML, CSV file) with a single mouse click. Define up to 5 individual limit and threshold values for important environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, or airflow. Specific conversion formulas can be stored for measurement converters, Modbus, DC, and AC sensors. Digital/potential-free alarm contacts of machines and systems are conveniently displayed in the web interface.
Graphical representation of the sensor measurement data
Directly in the web interface, you can graphically display the measurement data from all connected sensors. Receive detailed charts and data tables for one or more sensors. Each chart shows the data for the last 100 seconds, 100 minutes, 100 hours, or 100 days.
Notifications, alarms and automatic actions
The monitoring systems and PDUs can send notifications and alarms via email, SMS (via LTE/GSM modem or web-to-SMS service), syslog, event log, SNMP trap, SNMP get, SNMP set, strobe light, and/or alarm siren. Alarms are based on predefined thresholds (normal/warning/alarm). Escalation levels can also be configured. False alarm filters, as well as time and day-of-the-week filters, allow for fine-tuning of notifications and alarms.
Integrated logic
The integrated logic of the monitoring systems and PDUs is used to define automatic actions for specific events and/or physical changes in condition. Create custom alarm plans using "IF/THEN" or "IF/AND/THEN" functions!
Example: The temperature in the mission-critical server room must not exceed 36 degrees Celsius. If the critical temperature is reached in the server room, the Didactum monitoring system must automatically activate the auxiliary fan connected to relay 1. Simultaneously, administrators must be notified via email. If the internal temperature in the server room reaches 40 degrees Celsius, the monitoring system must activate the second auxiliary fan and alert administrators and the IT manager via alarm siren, email, and SMS.
Virtual sensors and elements
The web interface offers virtual sensors and virtual elements. Create your own virtual elements based on SNMP traps, SNMP GET queries, PING functions, HTTPS functions, SMS messages, timer (event scheduling), and trigger functions.
Free firmware updates
As part of Didactum's Lifetime Support, our programmers provide free firmware updates, which you can request from our support team free of charge. In addition to bug fixes, these updates often include new features.
