Example of a Keep Alive notification for the important Hyper-V server

I would like to receive a "Keep Alive" notification about the "normal" status of the ping at a set time to be informed about the availability of my important Hyper-V server. If the ping fails, the IP-based IT alarm system should not send a "Keep Alive" notification.

Next, we create a trigger for the "normal" ping:

Now we create a logic within the IT alarm system to control the trigger. "Ping to Server" is the ping element to be checked. This scheme activates a trigger if at least one error occurs during the ping check.

Now create a logic to send the message. In our example, this message will only be sent if there are no ping errors, meaning our business-critical Hyper-V server is reachable.

Additionally, we need logic to deactivate the trigger in the IT alarm system if it was previously activated. Please note that this logic will be activated when the "IF" condition changes. This logic will only function if the timer is deactivated (normal state), i.e., at 12:00:05.

or this, we need the timer function of the IP-based IT alarm system.

We will create a timer for this purpose, using the days of the week, Monday to Friday. The "Keep Alive" message should always be sent at exactly 12:00:00. We will set the timer duration to 5 seconds (12:00:05).
