Short acoustic notifications for group status changes

The option to notify users of group status changes via short audio clips is available through the web interface.

  • alarm.mp3 (EXAMPLE) – plays when at least one of the monitored groups is in an alarm state;
  • warning.mp3 (EXAMPLE) – plays when at least one of the monitored groups is in a warning state;

The object groups for audio notifications are selected in the "Enable Audio Notifications" options list.

By default, the "Enable Audio Notifications" options list includes all groups in the system except the "System Group."

If you select "Any Group," an audio notification will play for every object group, including the "System Group" (which is created by default for all objects in the system).

Therefore, if you only want to issue audio notifications for specific objects (modules, components), you must assign these objects to an object group and configure the audio notifications only for those groups.

For example, in the system whose settings are shown in the image above, there is a "System Group" and a group called "001". Accordingly, notifications can be enabled for all groups shown in the system or only for group "001".

In a system with the settings shown in the image above, audio notifications are disabled.
