Trigger function for potential-free contacts

All Didactum networked measurement and control systems are equipped with inputs for potential-free contacts, also known as dry contacts. This section shows you how to connect a potential-free contact to the monitoring system.

Each of these inputs can be individually named in the German-language web interface (air conditioner, emergency power generator, fire alarm system, door contact, door lock, etc.). For these inputs for potential-free contacts or dry contacts, you can define the behavior (normally open (NO) / normally closed (NC)).

Dry Contact Expansion Unit

With the support of the optionally available Dry Contact expansion unit, the Didactum monitoring systems equipped with a CAN expansion port can monitor an additional 32 or 64 inputs for potential-free contacts.

reating logic for arbitrary contacts / Dry Contacts

Several dry contacts connected to the IP-based measurement and control system can be grouped together in the web interface. To do this, go to the "Dry Contacts" menu in the web interface and click on the "+" icon (top right).
