Access control
Access control systems can ONLY be connected to the Didactum 500 devices via the OSDPv2 RS485 module. The reader is automatically detected.
Connection of electronic key reader
- Check the circuit board
- DIP switch 2 should be in the "ON" position
Connection for (contactless) door opener button
This reader has 2 wires:
- Ground (GND)
- Data bus (BUS)
The ground cable of the reader is connected to the RJ9 connector and the GND pin. The data bus is also connected with the RJ9 cable.
Card reader connection
Card readers have 3 connections:
- Power supply (+12V)
- Ground (GND)
- Data (BUS)
Connect the ground to the RJ9 connector. Connect the data to the BUS contact.
OSDPv2 RS485 Expansion Module
