Status query of the overall state of the monitoring system
In this section, we will discuss the status messages of Didactum’s IP-enabled measurement and monitoring system, hereinafter referred to simply as the “System.” The “System” has a specific identifier with the fixed value “ID = 100” (without quotation marks).
The status of the system and its included elements (analog sensors, digital CAN sensors, I/O contacts, virtual sensors) is composed as follows:
- Normal (all elements are in normal condition)
- Warning with status “Warning (low)” or “Warning (high)” (if at least one element is in such a state and no element is in the state “Alarm (low)” or “Alarm (high)”)
- Alarm with status “Alarm (low)” or “Alarm (high)” (at least one element is in such a state)
Using the “System” element, you can continuously monitor the overall status without having to check the status of each element individually.
