Function of the module
The OSDPv2 is an expansion board that enables the connection of readers and keypads using the OSDP protocol. It is compatible with Didactum surveillance systems such as the 100T, 300T, 500T, and 550T. Installation is possible during operation, offering flexibility with minimal downtime. The board features an internal termination resistor that is enabled by default but can be disabled if required.
The module supports various devices, including the SE Mini Reader and other OSDP readers or keypads from third-party manufacturers, making it a versatile tool for integrating access control into Didactum surveillance systems.

Installing the module in the monitoring unit
This procedure can be performed while a Didactum monitoring unit is in operation.
Step 1
Unscrew the small cover on the monitoring device using a screwdriver.
Set the cover aside.
Step 2
Insert the module into the device so that the circuit board is placed between the circuit board guide rails.
Step 3
Take the board from step 1 and cut off the plate inside it using pliers.
Step 4
Use the screwdriver to reattach the cover to the device.
Step 5
You can get started! Turn on the system.
